Makes my internet look extremely bad and I use a certain cable for internet which is supposedly really fast. It's new too. Didn't come out too long ago. But then again, I heard people in Europe have like 10 times faster internet than the US. So if your download time took hours, then I'm gonna assume you live in Europe.

There's no way it would take that fast in the US. Damn I'm jealous of you European people. I can't even imagine how fast your internet is. DC Universe Online Forums. Slow download time? I have a 50mbps connection, checked to be working at 40mbps right now and still my actual game download is around 1mb per 1 or 2 secs, I know it's not going to work at 40mbps, but it still seems waaaay too slow. I tried to reopen it again and again on steam but the problem was that when the launcher closes by itself, steam still "thinks" that it is running properly and it was not showing up on my task manager-- therefore I was not able to reopen it again. But sometimes I would have to leave my computer and it would still close on its own therefore wasting that time to download. I looked around google for a day and a half to look for solution but apparently many people had the same problem and their solution was to keep reopening the launcher. I found this solution from another person not mine. I changed some parts of the step because the original does not close the 1st launcher, therefore interferring it from reopening.

Since the instructions are long- to summarize what it does-- It reopens the launcher by itself using commands without you being there. So you dont have to worry about staying on your computer and manually open the launcher. Three options down should be "Create Task Click this. It should already be on General. Click "New
